If you could only listen to one CD for the rest of your life, what would you choose and why?

If I had to listen to ONE cd??
Hmm.... I think it would be Nirvana's 2002 album.  They have all the best Nirvana songs on there that I love, and will never get old to me.  Kurt Cobain's voice is so amazing; I wouldn't ever think of any other album than a Nirvana one.  So, this one, because it's a combination of all of their older stuff.
RIP Kurt!

Wow.  Ellen Hopkins is amazing!  I fell in love with this book.  Just reading the poems I start crying, because they are so powerful and deep and beautiful (hence the like five times I stated I cried up there haha)  I fell in love with the characters.

So, first, you have Eden Strait, right?  In love with the man of her dreams, Andrew.  But her parents are so religious, that when they find out, they automatically jump to the conclusion she's being possessed by demons.  Funniest shit I ever heard right there.  I laughed my ass off for a good five minutes.  Literally.  So, they send her to this place called Tears of Zion, and this guy there falls in love with her, and she trades sex with him for a chance to get nice things, and eventually, get out of the place.  So she goes to Vegas, stays at a shelter, and finally gets in contact with Andrew.  Yayy!  I was sooo hoping that would work out, because they just sounded so adorable together that it just simply had to work out, no matter the fact he's so much older than her.

Next, Seth, the gay guy who's mom is dead.  He's from Indiana and plans on spending his life on a farm.  Ew!  But the catch--in Kentucky's his boyfriend Loren, who is leaving for some place, so he gets a sponsor, this old guy named Carl.  And his dad finds out he's gay (SO SAD by the way) and kicks him out.  He lives with Carl, they relocate to Vegas (haha) and he works out at a gym, like, nonstop.  Lol.  He meets a hot guy there and hooks up with him, so Carl leaves him.  But not before they have a threesome!  Blech.  I wanted to PUKE.  I love gay guys, and think Seth is just the cutest character ever, but seriously, I did NOT need to hear about that!

Then, we've got Ms. Whitney, who is the most screwed up 15 year old I have ever heard of.  Lucas is a manwhore bitch who I could just killl!!!!!!  He tricks her into giving him her virginity, then basically says I wanted to pop your cherry, you suck at sex, peace bitchhh, I'm gonna go hook up with Skylar now.  So she's bawling, calls some photographer guy Bryn she met in a mall, and she trusts him.  Okay, first of all, she's a dumbass for trusting someone she just met and running off to VEGAS with them.  Yeah.  Seriously.  She's an easy screw and too trusting and that shit got her into a LOT of trouble.  He sells her into pornography and other shit basically, and gets her addicted to heroin.  Smart there, girl.  REAL awesome.  And the kicker is?  She still loves him after everything he put her through!  So she gets stupid, buys some black tar or whatever, and ends up in the hospital.  Poor girl.

And my personal favorite story, the one I connected with the most, is Ginger's.  Just everything about her I felt.  Her prostitute mom Iris who sold her daughter for two hundred bucks to get raped and she doesn't even care.  She's flunking school (oh, when she said for her P.E. teacher to get her lazy ass out and run, I've SO wanted to say that to my teacher when he told me to get running) and she only has one friend, Alex, who's "stepdad" makes her have sex with him.  So, is Ginger like bi or something?  Cause her and Alex run off to Vegas together, become prostitutes, and get in a relationship together.  And that's basically their story, till Ginger screws it up and the cops do something with them.  Alex is pregnant, and stays somewhere else, but Ginger goes home to her grandma's and a house full of little children, while her mom is dying of advanced HIV.  Her damn fault, isn't it?

Enter last, Cody.  Things in his life are great, loves his stepdad Jack.  But things go awry when he dies of stomach cancer.  His little brother gets drunk and tries to steal for money.  Cody's got a gambling problem, and uses all the money to gamble.  Then, when he finds they barely have any money, he goes into prostitution to get it.  And then he gets all confused with his sexual orientation or whatever, thinking he might be into guys a little or something.  Oh my god, grossed me out with the whole Dan thing too.  Damn, didn't wanna hear about his huge cock giving Cody pain when they had butt sex.  Gross!  I didn't care much for Cody at all, and found his story pretty boring.

But my god this story was good.  Ellen Hopkins once again brought out a very powerful story line about troubled teens.  She delivers so much because she is an amazing writer.  I think I will always love her books.
